RTI is the broadcasting unit of Mediaset Group, the leading commercial broadcaster in Italy and Spain. Its terrestrial channels collect around 45% of TV audience and 65% of TV advertising.
The Group core business is generalist commercial free TV, with its 3 main national channels (canale5 italia1 and Rete4), plus 8 free thematic channels, 20 pay tv channels and 1 Vod service (Infinity), a free catch-up service with the best of the Mediaset programs (Video Mediaset)
In addition to its domestic television interests, Mediaset holds 50.1% of the Spanish broadcasting firm Mediaset España Comunicación, operates a series of news, entertainment and sport websites; and owns the film production company Medusa Film. RTI owns 5 production centres based in Milan and Rome and a huge content library with more than 17.000 content hours.
Simona Tonoli

Simona Tonoli - Project Manager Head of European Projects. Coordinator of Project Producer. 15-year experience in the Italian TV sector as Business Development & Marketing Manager, with a focus on Innovation projects about Pay DTT TV and OTT TV and European projects about Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and HBB tv. From 2005 to 2015 worked at the main innovative startups launched by the Group as project manager in technology and marketing development for Vod Services (Play, Infinity and PremiumOnline) projects. In Mediaset Premium started up as responsible for Business Intelligence, Web selfcare and Direct marketing. Sometime before, following the listing of the Company on the Milan Stock Exchange (1996), she covered the role of IRO in the startup of the Investor Relations Department.
Sergio Morenzetti

Sergio Morenzetti received his master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano in April 2018.
After an internship as developer in Singular Factory working in Mixed Reality applied to healthcare and producing his Master Thesis, Sergio started working in the Innovation Area of Mediaset R.T.I.with a focus on European Projects about VR and HbbTV since September 2018. He is also following other Artificial Intelligence and AR/VR projects.
Cecilia Vanella

Cecilia Vanella (F) received her master’s degree in Management Engineering from the University of Palermo in July 2016.
After having been working as IT Functional Analyst in Reply S.p.A for almost a year, Cecilia started working in Innovation & Technology area of Mediaset R.T.I. since August 2017 specifically on European Projects about HbbTV and VR. She is also following other Artificial Intelligence and AR/VR projects.
Behshid Baradaran

Behshid Baradaran received her bachelor degree in Applied Mathematics in Iran. She completed her double master degree in Management Engineering and Product Service System Design at Politecnico di Milano, Italy. She did her internship in Bosch company, regarding designing a new production line for one of their products and optimizing their previous line. After finishing her master degree in October 2019 she started to work in the Innovation Area of Mediaset R.T.I. on Hyper360 project, and other projects related to AI.
